Two Weeks Later

It was another gorgeous day at the lake, and once again, we were all alone. Me, Ella Mae, Steele, and Wyatt were splashing around. We had gotten there early that morning and packed lunches, just as we had been doing since we were kids. Ella Mae was the first to get undressed, and it was impossible not to get aroused at seeing her naked. Watching her gorgeous, sexy body walk into the water was enough to give me erection, but thankfully, that went away as soon as the cold water hit my cock.

The guys and I vowed it would be a day of fun with her, just as we’d always done, and sex wasn’t on the agenda. But we also agreed, we wouldn’t say ‘no’ if she initiated anything.

We swam out to the middle of the lake, where I kept teasing Ella Mae. She’d kick her legs in the air at me and then go back underwater, only to reemerge a few feet away from me. Steele tried chasing her as she swam away, and Wyatt picked her up a few times. Once we had her in the middle, all three of us splashed until she went underwater and swam between our legs, giggling as she reemerged outside of the circle.

It felt like we were a family.

The guys and I agreed not to mention her dating Mike, either. After getting together for drinks with him a few weeks back, he hadn’t come by the hardware store or any of our houses. Ella Mae told us they were still dating, but she kept him at arm’s length. She knew it’d only be a matter of time before he went back to Connecticut, and she didn’t want to get hurt.

Steele kept pushing for us to tell her what he’s done behind her back, but Gunner and I refused to do so. It would just come off as jealousy on our parts, and she probably wouldn’t believe us. Plus, Ella Mae was a strong woman who wouldn’t put up with that kind of behavior. The truth would come out eventually.

I was about to swim towards the shore, eager for a bite of my sandwich when Steele decided to break our rule.

“I can’t believe you’re still dating Mike, Ella Mae. We thought you’d be over him by now.”

She looked at all three of us with shock.

“‘We’? Is he serious, guys?”

Gunner and I looked at each other, and I nodded while looking at her.

“Well, yes, but only because he’s from out of town. But, Ella Mae, you keep doing what you need to do. We support you no matter what, alright?”

She nodded while eyeing us suspiciously, especially Steele.

“You guys know I would never stay with a guy who wasn’t decent.”

She had a good point.

Ella Mae had only dated a handful of men over the years, and every time a guy proved to be an asshole, she promptly ended their relationship. And if that didn’t work, then the guys and I would show up and take care of it for her.
